We can appreciate a beautiful portrait just as much as the next photographer. However, what we’ve noticed in many portrait sessions is a lack of personal context. All too often, professional portraits fall short of truly capturing the subject’s personality and lifestyle. What’s the use of having lovely photos of yourself if they don’t really reflect you?

Whether you’re flying solo or bringing along a partner, sister, roommate, or your trusty long-term bestie, I’m all for it. We all have that friend who hasn’t updated their Instagram since 2015, so if all else fails, why not bring them along for a fun session?
