What are your operating hours?
Feel free to inquire about our operating hours if you have any special requests or questions. As a self-run business, I set flexible hours from 8 am to 8 pm. We mark unavailable slots in the booking form, but you can submit requests through forms, emails, or calls.
For early mornings or late-night sessions, contact us for possible arrangements. While I aim to be responsive, during shoots or busy periods, I may not answer calls immediately. If I miss your call, leave your details and inquiry, and I’ll get back to you promptly.
How long will it take to get my photos back after our session?
Our agreed return date is typically two weeks from the shoot, but often, we deliver them sooner. If you require an expedited delivery, please inform us, keeping in mind that a fee may apply.
Can you send me RAW’s/previews/a few tomorrow?
As a practice, we don’t provide RAWs to maintain the professional value of our work. Sending unedited images doesn’t showcase the best version of your photos. Basic edits are done promptly, and you can pay a fee for quicker editing within the two-week period. If you need a few photos for social accounts soon after the event, inform us in advance, and we can arrange accordingly.
Where are you located?
I operate from Wollongong, covering Shellharbour and Kiama. Periodically, I travel to Dubbo, making it an available location. If you have a preferred location outside these areas, feel free to request it, but note it might incur a travel fee.
Will my photos appear on your website?
Possibly. I showcase my best work to promote my business. Our agreement outlines usage details. However, we prioritise privacy and cultural/religious considerations. If you prefer to keep your photos offline, please inform us.
What is an exclusive and Non-Exclusive license?
An exclusive license grants you, the client, the sole use of delivered photos within the contract terms. While I retain copyright, you are the only person, aside from me, with the right to use the photos. This applies to images with identifying features.
A non-exclusive license allows client use within the contract terms, but I can sell the same photos to others and use them for self-promotion. This applies to general photos without identifying features.
Regardless, we prioritise respectful and ethical practices, seeking permission for personal use beyond the stated contract rights.
How do you price your services?
Pricing considers service complexity, number of participants, expected content, and editing time, which often triples shooting time. Costs cover business operations, including travel, electricity, equipment, licensing, and the website. Prices reflect time spent liaising, organising, shooting, editing, delivering, and managing the site for comprehensive service understanding.
How are photos delivered?
Upon completion, we’ll email you a link to a private, password-protected page for downloading full-resolution photos. Browse and download individually or use the provided zip file links for the entire gallery. Please note, we guarantee the link for two weeks due to space restrictions. While it may remain longer, old client pages could be removed if storage is needed. In case of lost photos or expired links, contact us for a copy from our backups, subject to a small fee.
Where can I see your portfolio?
Explore my portfolio on this website through the menu above or simply click here. It’s organised into various albums for easy browsing.
Do you maintain a backup?
Certainly, I conduct regular backups, preserving files for up to three months. If you ever lose your files, reach out, and I can provide a copy, subject to a retrieval fee.
Do you provide every captured image?
No, I curate the best shots, excluding duplicates or unusable ones for efficiency and quality assurance. While I guarantee the agreed-upon number, you’ll likely receive more, including all other wonderful photos from the session.
