Hey! I’m Tyneesha and it’s my sincere privilege to welcome you to Neesh Photography! Based in the Illawarra, I am a photographer who enjoys creating vibrant, dynamic and heartfelt images that ring true to the authentic nature of the subject. With experience in portraiture, family, headshot, event, interior and commercial photography, I am always up for trying something new and fun.

I’m a left-handed middle child who grew up in remote, sweltering, Central West NSW, and so predictably, at 19, I moved to the coast to pursue two arts degrees. As a child, I was sure I’d become a writer as an adult, but my passion for photography snuck up on me when I wasn’t looking. Everyone likes to take pictures, right? I didn’t realise I was practising for a lifelong dedication. I just knew I was having fun. Most of my writing content now finds a home at Tyneesha.com.

I’ve been doing photography work since I was a teenager, sporadically for a few years. In November of the year I turned 21, I decided to take it more seriously, get a website up, an ABN, trust myself and give it a real shot. What I may lack in age, I compensate for in dedication. I’m not saying that to sell myself, it’s just the truth. Photography is hard-wired into how I see the world around me. It’s both the most exciting and relaxing thing I can do, and it’s endlessly rewarding.

I fell in love with the process, the hunt for beautiful things, and the intimate connections it allowed me to make. Photography urges you to stop, look, and appreciate the world around you. For me it’s not about freezing a moment in time, but about capturing the now, for now. It’s about focusing on something, spending time with it, and honouring it. And nothing feels better than getting to share that experience with the people around you.

Now, in my early-mid twenties, I see how my photos can help people. They facilitate connection, bring joy and even help a business grow. I hold reverence for that. This isn’t a hobby for me. It’s the most innate part of my life. It’s intricately woven into how I navigate the world and interact with those who live in it. And it would be an absolute honour to get to know you, to utilise my creativity to fulfil all of your photography needs.
