Welcome to: Neesh Photography 2.0!

Hello and welcome back!

If you’ve been on this site before, you might notice that things look a little different. If you’ve never been on this site – don’t worry your pretty head about any of this. It’s clear to see that there’s been a significant update to Neesh Photography. Our little hub has undergone a very tedious and at times brutal revision process, at the hands of yours truly. From basic aesthetics to structural re-organisation, it’s all fresh and updated, keeping in mind all that we’ve learned in the last year of business. I’ll give you a quick run-down of what’s new.

Aesthetics & Usability

The new site is lighter, faster and more streamlined than the old version – by a long shot. It’s organised in a more logical way, and stripped back with no unnecessary clutter content. The original site was frustrating to create and to use – as it was a fair bit slower and less visually appealing. The aesthetics aged out almost immediately. Of course, you want to make sure that your photography website is as nice to look at as your photos themselves, and was kept in mind with the overall look of this site.

You can easily navigate through the portfolio, the services offered and our blog page. Prices, examples of past work and details of hire are easy to find and clear to read.

Services & Pricing

There’s also been a restructure of services, and new pricing introduced alongside that. I’ve taken the time to consider which services clients have been most interested in over the last year or so. With experience, I’ve also re-evaluated the cost of my time, and re-priced my services in accordance. Of course, pricing varies from job-to-job, depending on the client, my schedule and the individual necessities of delivering the best results that I can. However, I now have a more solid foundation to start from.

Re-Introducing Charity Clicks

If you navigate to our services page, you might notice some new material. Keen observers know that we’ve been offering free, one-off photography sessions for good-will and charity organisations for several months. With trial and error behind us, it is now a more refined and effective process to undergo. I’m very excited to take this initiative into the new year and continue giving back to our incredible community in the Illawarra.

Charity Clicks

Local charity organisations often struggle to find adequate funding, along with the appropriate marketing support that they deserve. By filling out a simple form on this website, they can apply for a free session tailored to their individual needs. The form gives us a better idea of what we can do to help out.

Little Locals

In the process of re-considering the pricing of our services, I realised that I’d prefer not to charge small local businesses in the same way I would for a commercial session with a larger company. Ideally, our aim is to foster a considerate and helpful relationship with our local community. Being a self-owned business, I understand that, given the opportunity, a lot of small businesses could benefit from accessible marketing services, such as professional photography. As of 2024, sole proprietors or partnership businesses with a Wollongong/Shellharbour postcode on their ABN can apply for a discounted session tailored to their unique needs.
