Game of Thrones – Intro – Hopes, Dreams and Heartbreak

Game of Thrones - Hopes, Dreams and Heartbreak

This post is part 1 of 8 in the series Game of Thrones Season 7

GAME. OF. THRONES.

Guyyyyyyyyyysssssssssszzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!

Are we excited yet?

Okay, I’m going to warn all you people right now because Game of Thrones fans seem to be extra weird about spoilers ( yup I have nothing against spoilers), that if you have not seen the episode, do not read my Game of Thrones posts for the next couple weeks.

GoT starts the long awaited and unwritten  (at least not in a book to follow like all the other seasons) 7th season on Monday, which I hope, will make up for my first day back at school.

I really only pay attention to the characters and storylines that I like (so Khaleesi and Jon Snow). However, for the sake of the show, I shall recall where we all left off a million years ago so that no one has to go and endure a gruellingly delightful re-watch of the last six seasons. You’re welcome.

The one and only Daenerys Targaryen (someone drop a beat cause I’m about to spit fire with these titles) – First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains (and hearts), and Mother of Dragons:

Your girl, last we saw her, was sailing off to someplace or other with her big mad army and heaps of boats that she got from Yara and Theon Greyjoy. She promised the Iron Islands support as long as they cut out the misbehaving. She’s got the Unsullied, the Dothraki, the Martells and the Tyrells. Along with Tyrion who she appointed HAND OF THE QUEEN BY THE WAY!!!

This season, I presume she’s not going to end up on the Iron Throne, it’s too expected. I don’t want to say they’ll kill her off, but hey, my gut says it’s a possibility. She teams up with Jonny boy for sure though, and obviously, they’re going to figure out that they’re cousins and all. Aaaaand then there’s always me holding out hope for Khal Drogo’s return.

Cersei Lannister – Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, Lady of Casterly Rock, Lady Paramount of the Westerlands, Queen Mother (formerly), Queen Regent (formerly), Queen Consort (formerly), and Jaime Lannister – Ser, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard (formerly):

The baldie is on the Iron Throne after blowing up Kings Landing (if anyone just listened to Margery, it’d be fine.) The High Sparrow got shot down, and I’m not against it. Cutey Tommen jumped out a window and left the crown for his mummy to take, which the last shot shows Jaime not being overly supportive. I do think that they will kill Jaime off, his story seems to have run dead. Perhaps Khaleesi will avenge her crazy father?

I’d like to see Cersei step down, or do something that isn’t completely self-centered. Maybe Jaime will be mad at Cersei, Dany will kill him, and then Cersei and Dany can bond over their love of burning people and killing their husbands. Maybe Dany can teach Cersei some compassion, and we can see some actual emotion? Maybe Cersei will tell Dany she needs to harden up a bit.Maybe they’ll just melt the White Walkers (scary zombie snowmen) together.

“…someone drop a beat cause I’m about to spit fire with these titles”

Jon Snow – King in the North, 998th Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch (formerly), and Sansa Stark – Princess, Lady of Winterfell:

Last we saw Jon, he reclaimed Winterfell and lost Rickon to Ramsay because Rickon couldn’t just zig zag? Anyway, Sansa whipped out her weird connection/loyalty to Littlefinger, who got the boys some more men in that epic battle at Winterfell and in the end, they fed Ramsay to his dogs.Oh, and Jon was named King of the North because that little nine year old yelled at all the old guys.

Jon, in the new season, needs to somehow, figure out who his mummy was, and that could happen alright because his little mate Sam is in that big library remember? The trailer said something about betrayal… over the last six seasons we’ve seen Sansa grow up so much with all those dumb guys she ended up stuck with. Season 1 she was a whiney little ranga who hadn’t had a spec of dust under her nails, all she wanted to do was get married off and have kids. But she’s ruthless now, and I reckon she’ll be the one to stab Jonny boy in the back this season.

I think she’s pregas with Ramsay’s baby. If you’ll recall, she told Littlefinger “I can feel it. I don’t mean in my tender heart it still pains me so. I can feel what he did, in my body standing here right now”… and what did Ramsay tell Sansa sitting up on his little chair like it was a throne just before he died? “Our time together is about to come to an end. That’s alright. You can’t kill me. I’m part of you now.”

Arya Stark – Princess:

Pretty much all of season 6, Arya was just kinda doing her own thing, and it was confusing as life. But she can fight like a bawse now, and she’s a legit assassin of her own accord. I love it. She closed season 6 by defeating the Waif and deciding to go back home to Westeros, where she slit Walder Frey’s throat after cutting up his sons and putting them in a pie. The little cutie. So she’s gonna go through this season and kill all the people who are on her list, even though no one but her remembers what that list was and whos still alive and available for the kill.

Anyways, many more opinions to come… Over the next few weeks, I’ll update this post after every episode, so y’all can read all about my weird little nerdy theories and insights. So if you wanna stick around, you do you.

“You know nothing, Jon Snow,”
